Oakland,CA— A 19-year-old Tiffany Lopez was arrested on suspicion of murder after she told police her 2-year-old daughter, Kamilah Russell died after a game of hide and seek, when she accidently sat on her. The authorities were not convinced, and finally Lopez admitted to suffocating the little girl when she became frustrated with her.
This is the same ‘mother’ who was charged in San Mateo County Superior Court with two counts of child endangerment and one count of resisting arrest as a result of an incident in San Mateo on Christmas Eve,where she mistreated her 11-year-old brother and another of her children.
Tiffany Lopez, who is three months pregnant, is being held in the killing of daughter Kamilah, a precious little girl who relatives said liked the color pink and the cartoon “Dora the Explorer.”
After her family members called 911 because the child needed medical attention and was unresponsive, Kamilah was taken to Children’s Hospital Oakland, where she later died.
It’s so sad when these young parents choose NOT to get the parenting classes and information that is so readily AVAILABLE and free to them- resulting in a little one paying the ultimate price. There is no excuse for this! Rest in peace little Kamilah–I hope your unborn brother or sister is quickly adopted when it is born and never has to meet the mother who so cruelly took your life.

I am Kamilah’s Great Grandmother. And I never will understand what prompted her Mother to take her little life. The Mother needs to be sentenced to the maximum degree. She also had a 8 month old daughter, which my Grandson and Daughter are raisin Her name is Tania and she is living in a home where she is loved and get all the attention she needs or wants. We never felt in a million years that Kamilah would only be with us for such a short time. She was a smart 2 yr. old and a very happy child who lover her Father with all of her little heart. And to know that her mother took her away from her. Not acceptable.
I don’t consider her a Mother, I consider her as a sperm carrier. Because a real Mother would not murder her child.

lack of free parenting infomation it not the reason. Any person who murders a child clearly has mental issues. so scenseless give your unwanted baby up for adoption! So many people who cannot have children and long for them. why are we throwing them away!
